The Great Gatsby comes to Abergavenny

If you love the Glamour of the Roaring Twenties then this Event is for You.

This Thursday Sept 5th, Vintage Vision will be hosting A Gatsby Styling Workshop at The Angel Hotel. The Event is between 7-9pm and will be held in the beautiful surroundings of The Angel Hotel's Ballroom. You will be able to see and hear how the 20's style evolves for the men and women in that time. If you fancy styling your hair then there will be a Hairdresser there to show you how to do it. You will also have the opportunity to adapt a regular dress to a 20's fashion statement and top it off with a handmade headdress as well.
To add to the glamour of it all, you can browse through an extensive collection of Gatsby styled outfits, both original and copies and see them modelled by Daisy Buchanan and Mia Farrow lookalikes.
You can also purchase some accessories to go with your handcrafted outfit.
Tickets are £10 and include a glass of wine.
Vintage Vision say:-

"It promises to be a great evening , so get your tickets early, from the Vintage Vision shop in Abergavenny or Chepstow, or via e-mail."

Vintage Vision also give women an opportunity to learn new skills and also give them access to training. They are starting their FREE sewing course in September so if you are interested in joining up, then pop in to see them or use the email address above. They have two shops, one in Abergavenny and one in Blaenavon so you can attend either area.
